Refund Policy

Free, swap, and donation sessions

Most sessions on Kindlio involve no payment through the platform, so there's nothing for us to refund. If a neighbor doesn't show up or behaves inappropriately, please use the report link on their profile or listing.

Paid sessions between neighbors

Kindlio doesn't process payments between learners and teachers. When money changes hands for a paid listing, it happens directly between the two neighbors (cash, Venmo, Zelle, etc.). Because Kindlio never holds those funds, we can't issue refunds for them.

If there's a dispute about a paid session, work it out with the other neighbor first. See our Cancellation Policy for suggested norms around no-shows and last-minute changes.

Kindlio Plus subscription

Kindlio Plus is billed monthly ($9.99) or yearly ($79.00) and can be canceled anytime from your profile — you keep access through the end of the current billing period. We don't pro-rate unused time on active periods. If you were charged in error or believe there's a billing mistake, email support@kindlio.app within 14 days of the charge.

Safety issues

Refunds don't apply to peer-to-peer payments, but safety absolutely does. Report unsafe behavior right away — email safety@kindlio.app or use the report button. We can suspend or remove accounts that violate our guidelines.
