Copyright & DMCA Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Kindlio respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects neighbors to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe content on Kindlio infringes your copyright, please email a notice to privacy@kindlio.app with the subject line DMCA Notice and include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
- The URL of the specific listing, profile, message, or image on Kindlio you want removed.
- Your name, address, phone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you're authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
What we do with a valid notice
Once we receive a complete notice we'll review it, remove or disable access to the reported content promptly, and notify the neighbor who posted it. Knowingly filing false claims may result in legal liability.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address containing your signature, identification of the removed content and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, your name/address/phone, and consent to jurisdiction of the federal court where you live (or in the U.S. if outside).
Repeat infringers
Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright will be suspended or terminated.
Trademark and other rights
For trademark, right-of-publicity, or other IP concerns, email the same address with a clear description of the issue and the URL involved.
